2.Non-literary - This type of essays are based on the criticism of some non-literary work, such as films, art, music, or drama. The performances of the artists involved in the work might be criticized with proper reasoning in these essays. These essays are often confused with a review of the subject matter. However, reviews are significantly different from essays for the fact that in an essay, the structure is quite mechanical, whereas in a review, the reviewer can take his/ her own path of choice.
3.Graphic – This is the only type of essay that is not written using just words. Instead, a set of photographs, drawings, etc., are used to bring the topic to life. Graphic essays are very interesting to go through. The photos flesh out the tale, while the captions provide additional bits of information.
