A holiday is the one thing that we look forward to all year round, a time of pure relaxation and fun away from the stresses and pressures of work and everyday living. Unfortunately, for some of us, heaven can unexpectedly, and within just a few moments, turn into hell…
Working within the financial services industry, I have become familiar with tales of financial success, and, unfortunately, of financial hardship, as people find themselves in financial bother, without any means of
relief. Horror stories are abound about the many unexpected financial situations people may find themselves in. Certainly, it seems that anything can, and will happen, especially away from the familiar comforts of home.
Peters’ story:
‘ I couldn’t wait to get to Majorca with all of my mates, it was going to be the holiday of a lifetime. We hadn’t booked our hotel as we thought it would be easy just to get one once we were there.
