I'm surely not mistaking when I say that Winamp is the most used audio player out there. But have you ever thought just how secure the application is? Well I never did until now, but recent news say that starting with version 5.34 there are new vulnerabilities within the software.

Secunia, the security company states that the vulnerability is related to the MP4 format, more precisely a specifically created MP4 file can conduct to memory corruption. There is no official fix until now so the best defense is not to open untrusted MP4 files until the next fix from Nullsoft.Marie J.
