Tips for regular maintenance

Regular maintenance is the easiest way to take care of any vehicle. If you want to keep your Porsche in prime condition we suggest you to follow the tips listed below.

Engine oil – Check the level of engine oil regularly. Use a dip stick to check for the level. This should be done at least once a month. Never drive the vehicle if the dip stick doesn’t show any oil.

Coolant level – The coolant level is as, if not more, important than the engine oil level. Check for it regularly and top it up with the coolant recommended by Porsche.

Battery – Check the level of acid in the battery regularly but make sure that you don’t have an open flame nearby while doing this. Remember that the battery can be potentially dangerous.

Tyres – Pressure in the tyres determine the proper running of the vehicle. The correct pressure is necessary for the proper working of the car. Also always check your tyres for excessive or abnormal wear or damage.

Headlights and other lights – Always make sure that the headlights of your vehicle are working properly. Headlights are your guide while driving at night and the indicators and tail-lights too have their own role to play. Make sure that all of them are working properly.

Porsche also offers special products such as Seasonal Checks and All-inclusive repairs. Under Seasonal Checks, your Porsche undergoes Spring Check and Winter Check. These comprehensive checks twice a year ensure the hassle free running of your car. Also, as the name suggests, the type of checks performed are as per the season and thus provide specific troubleshooting for the seasonal variances. All inclusive repairs provide assurance to Porsche owners regarding the service they receive. The service guarantees that your Porsche will be repaired in a Porsche Centre, with genuine Porsche parts fitted by Porsche trained technicians at an all-inclusive price.

All these services are offered by Porsche Melbourne. Being the only factory owned dealer of the reputed Porsche cars in Melbourne, Porsche Melbourne strives for excellence in the fields of sales and service just like the brand name it represents.
