Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel Educational Society founded the First Law College in Allahabad.

About two thirds of India’s population lives in countryside which are considered rural areas; education and income sources are basic requisite in these areas. Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel Educational Society seeks to educate, encourage and inspire rural children. Education plays a vital role in terms of expansion, growth, local economic and widespread development of a country.

India has made enormous improvement and progress in developing, mounting and expanding literacy in the region of rural areas. Higher education institutions are thrived in India and continued to deliver high end education. India has world’s third largest education system but still rural education is far behind from its development.

In an effort to further expansion of rural education, Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel Educational Society decided to construct a Law College in cross of Ganges and as a result G Singh Law College was established at Kaserva Khurd Sahson, Allahabad in 2005 for legal education. It is first law college of Allahabad District which is in rural area and affiliated with C.S.J.M. University Kanpur.


The Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel Society decided not just to award degrees but to spread legislative or lawmaking knowledge to rural students; Society decided that educational practice, familiarity and expertise offered by college should be of high excellence and value and also it should reach to heaps.

Founder Gulab Singh has a dream to literate every people of India rather than Allahabad. In his words any people of those in countryside areas are prey of illiteracy and this is the main reason of our drawback and downside. His effort designed to constrict modern learning standards in rural areas and therefore is to provide educational help to rural students without any hesitation and divergence by opening this Law College. He is trying to inspire people in countryside areas towards law education in India.


G Singh Law College comprises nine different teaching faculties, professors, lecturers and four non teaching staffs to its growth; it offers L.L.B degree with intake of 240 seats. This is a challenge to preserve these talented individuals by intensifying the availability of better paying high quality education in the locality and G Singh Law College accepted this challenge and its staff performing more than expectation.
The College has a well structured library area with accommodation of about hundreds students for reference work at any time. The library has almost thousands of volumes of books and maintains unfasten access facility for students and staff members. The reference book section itself has more than thousands of volumes with selected dictionaries, atlas and encyclopedias. The Library has a section to convene the requirements of students and the teaching staff.
It subscribes to different legislative & governmental journals, periodicals and magazines on range of subjects of both national and international standing. It has separate reading room, specially designed for reading daily newspapers and related articles. Library also has reading material in the form of Compact Discs and Video Tapes.
The college provides students with bright, large and spacious classrooms equipped with latest assets. It has a notice board for students in order to get more information. College is helping students with availability of academic staff to advice and consults on their course. Establishment of G Singh Law College is a giant step towards rural student’s development and to help with a good and quality law education.
