JVC’s new Everio G Line of Camcorders

New for 2008, Electronics giant JVC has released their new “G” line of Everio Camcorders with a new, slim design that’s around 20 percent smaller than models from last year. The five cameras include four with a resolution of 680K, and one model which maxes out at 7 Megapixels.

The four models are split with both 30GB and 60GB respectively, while the 7 Megapixel model contains a 30GB hard drive. All feature JVCs new “Laser Touch Operation” interface – which uses small lasers to sense finger movements along its touch-sensitive excellent 2.7-inch widescreen LCD monitor screen. The advantage the laser touch operation has is that its dirt proof. The 30GB “G-corders” offer a 35x optical zoom, integrated “Auto Illumi Light” and some models come available in colors like sapphire blue, ruby red or diamond silver, while the 60GB model comes in Onyx Black.

The camcorder uses a f3.5 KONICA MINOLTA LENS in its design along with a very tiny 1.3-inch 30 GB hard disk drive (30GB).
