Some are making just as much as they did in a regular job while others have reached the Promised Land where they have found it to contain beach houses, Ferraris and Cessnas in abundance

On the other hand it's not all good news because knowing how to use a computer is only the first step on a very long journey; this particular learning curve can be exceptionally steep. You'll need to know something about web sites and their content and whether the sphere you're operating in actually needs a website to make some money. And then you'll be investigating the virtues of XSitePro, Front Page, Dreamweaver and other WYSIWYG programs for web sites. You'll doubtless have heard of Clickbank, AdSense, Pay-per-click, PayPal,
PayDot.com, Squidoo, Ebay, Youtube, Facebook, Digg, Twitter, Wordpress,
del.icio.us, StumbleUpon, reddit, and furl - and don't forget about article marketing. Perhaps not all are necessary to make money on the net but certainly all are useful avenues to explore on your internet journey. If you are prepared to put the work in you can definitely take advantage of the make money opportunities on the net and have a quality lifestyle. Although, it's highly unlikely that you'll be sitting on a beach whilst you are doing it.
