The egg can be a powerful addition to any menu. It is the one ingredient that has so much to offer for its simple cost. This economical ingredient offers an excellent source of protein and is also low in calories. Eggs are no longer just a breakfast item. It can now be added to meals to compliment the flavor. From early morning to a late night snack, the egg can furnish you with a quick and solid menu item to satisfy your hunger. A simple recipe can be used during the day to supply energy and fill you with the great taste of eggs.

These ingredients will be delicious for an any-time egg recipe: 2 large eggs, a quarter of a red bell pepper, 1 cup of shredded cheese, a small onion, and a small amount of butter. Any additional seasonings, like salt or pepper, should be included in the ingredients.


First, you need to dice up the bell pepper and onion and put them in a separate bowl. Then, you will need to break the eggs into another bowl and season them to your taste. Then, whisk them until they are mixed in the bowl. At this time, preheat a pan on the stove to medium heat and add your butter. Then, add the sliced peppers and onions to the skillet. Let them cook until they are semi-soft, then add your egg mixture to the skillet. Cook your eggs the way you like them, then add the shredded cheese in the last few minutes to melt into your egg mixture.

When the cheese is melted, and the eggs are cooked. Just take the pan off the stove and serve on your plate for a quick, fast meal anytime. This simple recipe can be performed in under 5 minutes, and can furnish you with a tasty meal with little mess. Remember that the egg can be used to enhance any recipe. Another variation of this recipe is to add hash browns for a quick meal with a carbohydrate kicker.
