Dubbed 'Switzerland in miniature,' one of the main things that makes it so special is its geographical diversity. It spans multiple localities, including Nyon, Lausanne, Vevey, Villeneuve, and of course Geneva.
The lake is surrounded by everything from tranquil beaches and verdant hills and fields to snow-capped mountains.
