For most the idea of raising their credit score is like mission impossible. I
was desperately looking to boost my credit score quickly so I could buy a piece
of real estate. To increase my score I did what's called the credit pursuit
strategy. And as a result my credit skyrocketed by 110 points in 5 months.
Here is the credit pursuit strategy, 5-step formula, on how to increase your
credit score by 100 points in 6 months or less.
Step One. You WILL need cash. I know cash can be hard to come by, but something
has to give if you want to boost your credit score. This isn't some pie-in-the-
sky technique. It really works. So coming up with some creative ways to get cash
will pay off big time. Just think of how good it will feel in the end. This is
just a small price to pay.
Step Two. Head on down to your bank and get a Certificate of Deposit (CD).
You'll want that CD to be for around 6 months at least. And that cash that you
borrowed or came up with will fund that CD. Best case scenario you'll want at
least $1000.
Step Three. At the same time you set up the CD you'll also want to take out a
collateral loan. That collateral loan will be against those funds you put in the
CD. This loan is usually for 95% of the amount you put in the CD. Banks will do
this because they have collateral - your CD.
***Note: Do not spend the funds that you get. You will wind up with about $950
if you put $1000 in the CD) for the collateral loan.
Step Four. At this time you will want to wait for that collateral loan to hit
your credit report in about 1-2 months tops. Once that happens you want to make
a payment on that loan. Then you want to wait again for that to hit your report.
So you'll want to monitor your credit report for these months.
Step Five. Once that payment hits your report then you're golden. Now you want
to pay off that loan in full and wait for that CD to mature. At that point you
will get back your funds. You can now pay back your family or friends if you
borrowed the money. Job done! Expect a credit score raise.
