There are three basic types of people….

1) People who say they're planning to do big things (such as develop huge muscle mass), but don’t lift a finger to achieve it.

It’s all talk, no action. They spend their lives making excuses for their problems and never actually getting off of their behinds to do something about it.

They will waste their years wishing but never having. They will resent and criticize those who succeed because they know that they will never succeed themselves.

They have no willpower or discipline. They are doomed to a life of mediocrity but will never accept responsibility for this.

2) The people who say they're going to accomplish something big, like developing huge muscle mass, but quit after sometime.


They talk the talk, begin to walk the walk, but fall down in exhaustion, never reaching their goals or enjoying the fruits of their labour on any kind of long term basis.

They just don’t have any patience. They are not willing to keep going. They will always fall short and never stand shoulder to shoulder with the elite.

In spite of their many attempts to be successful, they can’t achieve what they want because they simply lack the tools to do so.

3) The winners—people who say they're going to accomplish something, such as gain huge muscle mass, plan ahead, and then go and achieve their goals.

They make firm decisions that contain no hints of “maybe” or “try”. They understand that there are 2 possible outcomes in any decision: success or failure. They only want success, so they will do whatever it takes to achieve it.


They already know that they will succeed the moment they make a decision to accomplish something. Their ability to achieve their goals is never in question; the only thing that may change is how long it takes them to get there.

Their mind holds all of the tools necessary to accomplish anything in the world and they understand this. As they have the utmost confidence in their talents and beliefs, accomplishing anything that they want is never outside the realm of possibility.

They don’t believe in making excuses. These people get the fact that they can take total control of their destiny, just like every person on the planet can.

They will fight through all setbacks, any physical or mental pain, discomfort, and exhaustion to achieve their goal. They know that it’s important to work towards what you want because it becomes that much more valuable in the end.


They will work as hard as is required to achieve greatness.

Ultimately, they never fail in the long run. They embrace the setbacks and bumps in the road. When a setback or bump in the road presents itself, they form a plan for how they will get past it.

They don’t sit and debate whether to move forward or quit. They don’t quit and don’t let mistakes and setbacks bog them down, because they love the fight and ultimately, the victory.

They keep moving ahead.

In the end, after the smoke and dust of battle settle down, they are standing victoriously amongst the elite. Looking back, they can embrace their achievements and feel proud and satisfied. Everyone respects and envies them and they know that they truly deserve it.

Do you know which category you come under?

True bodybuilding success only comes to those people in category three; the ones willing to fight for huge muscle mass.

You need to be ready for an ongoing battle that does not lend itself to quitters—after all, when is the last time you saw someone develop huge muscle mass quickly? ) It will not be had by those who are unwilling to dedicate themselves to a goal and work hard to achieve it.

Before getting started, face any doubts about your ability to succeed and eliminate them.

Get rid of your questioning, fears, and wondering.

Make firm decisions on what you are going to accomplish, make a plan and then… quite simply, make it happen.

Only when your decisions contain questions of “when can I reach this goal” rather than “will I reach this goal” will you ever truly succeed both in bodybuilding and in life.

That is a decision that only you and only you can ultimately make and choose to stay true to.
