Scripture guarantees that we who believe in Jesus will overcome the globe. Yet the majority of us will admit we are failing to'overcome' in one area of our lives. Why? The reason is that devil focuses his attack on our weaker points. Since our minds are his battleground, his strategies will be directed toward our thinking.
He sends arrows of doubt, fear, and enticement to penetrate our thoughts. He shoots flaming missiles - fake concepts about God, erroneous doctrine, and unbiblical philosophies - to steer us away from truth and to frustrate God's purposes for us. If we let these arrows to infiltrate our thinking, we'll give demon a tough foothold inside our minds from which he'll hector and defeat us. ( Ephesians 4:27 ) One of the Enemy's techniques is to instill fear in us. Many people have apprehensions about specific things and, if he unearths what it is, the Demon will send arrow after arrow of trepidation into our minds.
He wants us to develop thought patterns of fear whenever that subject comes up. With this viewpoint, we intend to continually act without regard to what God announces. How are you in a position to protect yourself? With the Lord God's help, identify your fragile areas and begin to brace them through the Word of God.
Remember : the fiery missiles of demon can be completely extinguished by a heavy dose of the Lord God's truth. With Christ, we may overcome!
Teaching kids to swim starts with a straightforward lesson - they have to be taught to put their face in the water. Unless the kid experts that one little talent, swimming remains out of reach, and some future pleasure is sacrificed. This did not appear like a request that would open the door to ministry or perhaps great blessing. Our saying yes to God in the tiny things is an essential step to His best blessings. Folks will also derive benefit from our obedience. When Simon Peter consented to Jesus' request, the result was 2 boatloads of fish, more than needed for all those with him.
