Have you ever wondered what to do with all those photos you have been shooting with your digital camera? I have to admit I am guilty of shooting hundreds of photos when I go on vacation, or weekend trips, only to end up storing all my digital images on my hard drive for year after year.

Sometimes I get a flashback and end up going over them on my computer and I realize that some are really worthy shots and they deserve to be displayed or given to friends as special occasion gifts.
I have no doubts many of you have been faced with the same situation from time to time.
How can one really display ones photos in a new and contemporary way? I must admit the old frame and mat approach gets a little boring these days.

Well, one can still frame photos but framing costs can be high and the frame may go out of place once you change your décor.

A very popular option these days is to have your photos printed onto a canvas fabric and then stretch it over a wooden frame resembling a canvas painting. A trip to your local décor store like Homesense will give you an instant realization that stretched canvases are one of the hottest ways today of showcasing photography and art.

A photo on canvas is the general terminology used to describe the process of transforming your own memorable photo image into comtempoorary wall art. One of the great advantages of creating your own canvas photo art is that are creating deeply sentimental art right from your own photos have are part of your memories. You can go out and buy a commercial canvas piece but when it is created from your own images it has special meaning and brings to life memories of the past.

I have personally created a few photos on canvas and I have to say I get complements from my friends and neighbors every time they visit.
You may also decide to have your image split or cut sections and then turned into a separate photo canvas panels which would then hang closely together to create a large wall décor piece.

Thanks to digital printing technology you are faced with an almost endless array of possibilities when it comes to creating your own meaningful photo art that you and your family will enjoys for many years.
Stop storing all those great shots your have captured and turn your winning images into a custom décor photo canvas.
