Canon have recently launched this powerful new tool which enables professional photographers to produce saleable prints in sizes from 10cm x 15cm up to A3+ and 14” wide media, ideal for exhibiting.
For exceptional colour accuracy this pixma photo printer is supplied with a 10 think tank using single Lucia pigment inks. The extra Red and Green cartridges expand the printers colour gamut, while the Photo and Matte blacks are both installed so there is no need to keep changing inks. The think tank lets you know when a colour is getting low so you don’t get caught out when the cartridge is empty. The individual colours mean there is minimal wastage. The Lucia pigment inks are designed to deliver long lasting prints that retain their vibrancy, giving confidence when selling your photos.
The neutral grey and metameric properties of Lucia ink means that neutral and high contrast pictures can be achieved easily.
The ambient light correction feature automatically corrects the colour tones so that your pictures retain their correct hue in any light conditions and retain their clarity.
Canon’s Fine Printhead is made by a full photolithography process which enables printing at a high resolution of 4800x2400 dpi with extreme accuracy. 16 bits per channel printing gives smooter tonal graduations in both colour and monochrome. The result is grain free, highly detailed prints.
You can choose from many specialist medias to get just the finish you require. The Mark II supports Canon Gloss, Matte and Fine Art media as well as a number of supported third party medias from Hahnemuhle, Crane, Somerset, Moab, Innova, Arches, Canson & Pictoria and more.
The paper handling maximum is 140 sheets and you can print on media up to 14” wide and also on to printable CD’s and DVD’s. Dual paper trays allow you to keep multiple paper sizes and styles on hand for all your printing needs. Media sizes supported are A3+, A3, B4, A4, B5, A5, Letter and Legal. Thanks to the flat paper path you can print on media up to 1.2mm thick.
The Canon Pixma Pro9500 Mark II comes bundled with Adobe’s Photoshop Elements 6.0 and Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint Pro Plug in software, which allows you to layout multiple images and adjust the print settings all from one screen. With Auto Photo fix enabled, your images are automatically optimized for one of five categories (Portrait, Scenery, Night Scenery, Snapshot with Scenery, Snapshot with Night Scenery)
