The first auto mobile was manufactued at the end of the 19th century. Most of the people welcomed the auto mobiles with open hearts. They were first mostly used in the industrial areas , but later on as time went by people started to buy their own automobiles. After some time cars became the basic means of travel.

Most of the people treat their cars as they are part of the family. And they also try to make them as decorative as possible. Car Tail Lights are basically a very important accessory of a vehicle. Car Tail Lights have become a big show piece. Every person wants its Car Tail Lights to be more attractive, bigger and brighter. People spent a lot of money to get quality of Car Tail Lights. The Car Tail Lights indicates the presence of vehicle on the road. Drivers of other vehicles are also indicated that whether a car has to turn left,right or wether it has to stop.


There are different companies in the world today which are manufacturing different types of Car Tail Lights. These tail lights are present in different sizes,shapes and different design patterns. In the start tail lights consisted of a single lamp, but now they consist of an assembley of lamps.
The car taillights of a car basically act as an indicator. It basically tells the drivers of the other vehicles , when to brake or when to turn left or right. Basically the Car Tail Lights consists of the following :

• Reverse Lights
• After Market Tail Lights
• Led Tail Lights

1.Indicators:
They are also known as rear position lamps. The color which is used for the indicators today is yellow. They are used to tell the drivers of other vehicles whether the person wants to turn left or right. They are also used for emergency indication as well.


2. Brake Lights:
They are also known as brake lamps.They are used to produce only red light.The vehicle consits of two of these lights . They produce the red light when the driver applies the brakes of the vehicle. These lights basically indicate the drivers of the other vehicles that the person in the front vehicle is reducing his/her cars speed.Many of the modern brake lights consists of LED lightning source. The first car whose brake lights had these LEDs Cadillac Deville which was manufactured in 1999. In North America the range of a single compartment brake lamp is ranging from 80 to 300 candelas.

3.Reverse Lights:
These are those lights which light up when the car is put in to reverse gear. They brightness is dull compared to the head lights which are at the front.

4.After Market Tail Lights:
These type of lights are mostly sold after the manufacturing of the car. These lights are a substitute for OEM. In the after market they are also called Euro Lights. These lights basically provide a good look to the body of the vehicle. They are cheaper as compared to the fancy and expensive LED lights.

5.LED Tail Lights:
These are the best set of Car Tail Lights there ever is. Most people don't know what an LED is. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. They are basically just like cathode ray tubes.These lights are replacing the old stock lights. These lights are very expensive. These lights are mostly used by companies like Lambhorginee,Ford,Austin Martin etc. The main advantage of these lights is that they give an impressive illuminating look. These lights are present in various colors and they consume less power and they turn off easily.
