However, the Toyota Supra has long been more than just a sports car, also doubling up as a grand touring car and it has been produced from 1979 to 2002. There are many other models similar, but the Supra has always been on top of the list of favoured cars of its kind.
Originally, the Toyota Supra was designed upon the Toyota Celica. However, having undergone a lot of bitch redesigns over the long period of its lifespan, the 2009 Toyota Supra is now completely different and it is difficult compared to the original models.
Having undergone a series of redesigned throughout its extensive lifespan, the Toyota Supra was introduced to the market back in 1979 and was produced until 2002 in related forms. As one would expect, the car has changed enormously over that period of time and in 2007, another model came out which is based on previous models and impressed large numbers of viewers of the North American International Auto Show.
Various cars in the production history have won a number of awards and indeed they have been very popular and are featured in a number of television shows, video games and movies. Most notably, certain cars in the range appeared in the famous series of films, 'The Fast and the Furious'.
The original model of this car, the model on which it is based, appeared in 2007 in an auto show in North America. It impressed customers and reviewers alike, being top of the list of performance, reliability and generally sleek design. A classy and high quality car, of course is have a higher price tag, but it was always one of those things that many people aspired to get.
However, with the specifications largely dug up from amongst rumours, it is a little hard to say exactly what the Toyota Supra 2009 will feature. Nonetheless, it is believed that it will have a 4. 8 l V10 engine, meeting all the characteristics and expectations of a high powered sports car with an abundance of extra features.
A search of images of the car on the Internet will yield some impressive pictures of prototypes and some of the previous models upon which this car was based. With the streamlined and very attractive design, the car is certainly built to impress.
