Well I first saw their evony ads in friendster, I think it was and I was curious as the ad itself was absolutely interesting... You gotta see the ad and if you see it, it would make you curious as to what the game is all about. And so i was curious and wanted to find out what it was all about, and so I clicked the ad...
Instantly, I was transferred to their site where I had to register, select my username and all that.. It probably took me about 2 minutes for the registration and i was all set to go.
Before I continue to share my experience, you might want to know what Evony is all about. Well Evony is an online game where you get to play as a Lord. Like in the olden times where warriors, soldiers, knights and battles happen, that's what Evony is all about.. It's about building your very own empire and running and managing it.. Taking on battles against your rivals, having fun making friends online, and spending time to escape from this often crazy and monotonous world we live in..
In short, its your one way trip to a Free Online Game where you can get to enjoy the game and escape from reality.
That's what the game is for me anyways. I work full-time doing office admin work and when I get home I've got dishes, and chores to do... And all that is utterly tiring.. And so I decided to play some games online...I must warn you that evony can be highly addictive so be cautious... hahaha..
The game itself is perfectly done. You just log in and Bob's your Uncle.. You just need to explore things out as they are fairly new to you. So you need to click on your quests and see what needs to be done and simply do them... It's a game that is absolutely competitive and you need to be online and play the game otherwise you'll get behind... But don't worry too much about winning the battles and gaining a high prestige level in the game. It's all about having fun and enjoying the game.
