Choose a keyword or keyword phrase that you think a person browsing the Internet will use if they are looking for a product or service you have to offer. For instance if you are promoting water filters, you may chose the keyword phrase “home water purification units.” If your article is 500 words use that phrase five times.
The second article marketing tip I want to give you is not to sell. The purpose of your communication is to inform people. Give them the facts they need to choose the best product or service.
If you give them valuable information they will be able to make an informed choice. If you try to sell them your product, they may not think what you are telling them is sincere. You need to build their trust by giving them honest facts, not selling jargon.
The third article marketing tip is one I think is very important and it is the easiest to follow. Proofread your article for misspelled words and poor grammar. You can use software that will do this for you. There is no reason why in this technological age you should have a word misspelled.
Sometimes it is easy to use the wrong word even though it may be spelled correctly. What I do to avoid this to read my writing out loud. If you have words that are spelled right, but used wrong, such as writing now, when you meant know, you may not catch that just by reading. Neither will spell check discover that, but hearing it will. It also helps you to hear when your words aren’t flowing together smoothly.
