Hyundai is a global name in auto manufacturing; it has a well established repute among its competitors and partners in the Korean car industry. To make your Hyundai Sonata more stylish and sleek you need HID lights for it. HID stand for high intensity discharge lamp it’s a type of bulb that produces a brighter and much focused beam of light. These bulbs are the new age of technology lighting. Hyundai Sonata's factory lights are not that strong to make them up to the standard you need xenon lighting. They call it a xenon HID lights. Now the aftermarket car industry introduced Xenon HID lights of Hyundai Sonata. Aftermarket HID lights are available for Hyundai Sonata model, and now you can upgrade your vehicle with a xenon lights installed onto it, even if they it is not equipped to do so. HID Xenon lights include the xenon filled bulbs, which is the gas that burns inside of them, they also come with the ballast, and the plugs. Ballasts are small boxes that convert the electrical current for the xenon bulb. The ballast is essential to make sure there is enough electrical current available for the xenon bulbs to ignite. Even though xenon bulbs use less electrical current to run, they do need quite a lot to get them burning when they first come on. But once they are on they use less electrical current. The installation of HID Kit is easy. It usually takes about twenty five, to thirty minutes to install HIDs on Hyundai Sonata's. The process usually includes removing the old Halogen bulbs, installing the HID or xenon bulbs from the xenon kit onto your Hyundai Sonata. Once that is taken care of then you can move on to plugging the bulb to the ballast, and then the old wiring harness that went to the halogen bulb would go onto the other side of the ballast. The Hyundai Sonata HID ballasts are designed to be a plug-n-play application. Just plug it onto the back of the bulb and connect the negative and positive wire to the factory harness of your car and you are set to start using your new Hyundai Sonata xenon kit. The harnesses are designed to simply clip into place to your existing harness and run your Hyundai Sonata Xenon HID setup. The HID lights are designed in such a way that there are no more short circuits and gives you trouble free lights for long times.

A Hyundai Sonata HID bulb houses xenon gas that is charged by an electrode at the end of each bulb, thus emitting a totally different light than typical halogen lights. Amazingly there is no filament to become loose and eventually burn out. Not only are the Hyundai Sonata HID bulbs much more efficient (up to 10x times longer than conventional halogen bulbs), they are also up to 3x brighter. In fact, Hyundai Sonata HID xenon bulbs are so much more efficient and overall generally better than halogen bulbs after the excellent results of the HID lights more and more Hyundai Genesis are rolling out of the assembly equipped with HID lights.
