If you’ve successfully implemented a plan for an online business, have set up a squeeze page and have a well written sales letter on your website and are ready to get some quick traffic, a joint venture or JV deal is a great option. But what do you need to have ready and what information, tips, resources and materials should you be offering your JV partner in order to start getting some quick sales? Well, if you follow my advice, I can steer you in the right direction. This is what you need…
If you’ve already set up your opt-in page you obviously have also set up your autoresponder messages using a professional autoresponder/shopping cart management software like OneShoppingCart or KickStartCart, which is basically the same thing. Inside there, you have the ability to set up a sales tracking system where you can track the sales to the individuals that execute them. You can also set up an entire affiliate program with these software packages as well. If you don’t know how to do that, then go to OneShoppingCart.com (that is if you’re using OneShoppingCart), and click on the customer. I think the button is called customer support. Once you’ve done that then click on the video tutorials and go to all video tutorials, and it will show you how to set up your affiliate program. It’s very simple and straightforward if you follow the tutorial instructions. Support can also assist you if you’re having trouble.
After you’ve set that up the next question is what materials do you supply your JV partner with?
Well, firstly you need to remember that your JV partners are lazy. So, if they’re lazy, you’ve got to basically supply them with everything in order to ensure you’re going to get the sale. Remember, they are lazy and want to exert as little energy as possible. After all, they get jv offers every day.
You basically have to make it as easy as them simply pushing the send button. If you want to make it easy for them, the ultimate thing you need to do is to set them up as an affiliate yourself and then give them their unique affiliate link.
It is also very important to have the prewritten emails ready for them to send. Make it as easy for them as possible. Give them the subject line of the email that you want them to send. Put their affiliate link inside of that email and sign the bottom of it with their name. When you complete all of this send them an email and say, “Here you go. Here’s your affiliate login information, your username, your password, your URL to login to the affiliate area so you can see and track your sales and see exactly how many sales you’ve made. And also, here’s the email which I’ve already written for you with your affiliate link already embedded for you.” And then give that to your JV partner. That’s what you need to do. This will make it a lot easier for you and for your new JV partner. Also don’t forget to give them the date when you want them to send out the email.
If you do all of this it’s very likely you will have established a respectful and trusting business relationship. They will respect you for your hard work and the ease with which you’ve allowed them to make sales for you (and for them). It’s very likely they will not hesitate to do JV’s with you in the future. Help your affiliates as much as possible and you’ll see sales for years to come.
