If you are building your Network Marketing business with the old school methods then you will be employing all of the following 5 steps:

1. Approaching
2. Presenting
3. Following
4. Enrolling
5. Training

But, how are they important to your Internet Network Marketing strategies?

To address this question: all of these steps are equally important in your online campaign, but can actually be achieved in a fundamentally different way. Allow me to explain:

Previously, you would start with a list of contacts and would systematically contact them one at a time to invite them to look at your opportunity. That is not required online, providing you offer value to your contacts. They choose to be a lead because they would like you to share information with them (register as subscribers). Therefore your 1st contact can be achieved with little or no stress, when you deliver your initial autoresponder email out to your lead.

With regards to your presentation, you provide relevant content to your list of contacts and they decide when they want to watch your company's information. This us completed automatically, with no high pressure tactics by you!

Every time you email a new mail out to your contacts, you are following up with them. They may choose to ignore your email, they may decide to review it, or they may even choose to partner you. This is also the same when you promote your business via word-of-mouth, but online this happens without your personal effort and without any direct rejection!

You enrol your new team members when they message you to tell you they want to be sponsored! Take it from me, this might happen if you demonstate to people how to get what they wish for out of their Network Marketing opportunity, but be sure to provide the things you advertise.

Finally you must train your new recruits so they can build and employ the same prospecting processes that you employ. This would preferrably be structured and automatic to reduce your own input and to make sure that all of your recruits are trained to the best of your capability.

This type of approach ticks all the boxes for a desireable system (on and off-line) and once it has been initiated it is able to run entirely on autopilot!

At this point, I must elaborate on the importance of planning your process from beginning to end before you begin putting anything tangible together. I honestly discovered the hard way that if you jump in with both feet first, without a complete plan, then you can end up doing far more work than you are required to! I actually ended up having to begin from scratch because there were too many errors with my system!

Do not make the same mistake that I have, as you must make sure that your initial steps are in-keeping with your desired outcome that you have for your completed system. Do the important preparation prior to building your prospecting processes!
