When talking about launching a new product there is a checklist of things you must do in
order to ensure the success of your launch. So, grab a cup of coffee and take note...

1. Get plenty of sleep a few days prior to your launch because you’re not going to be
living the four-hour work week anymore. You’re going to be living the four-hour sleep week.
So, get prepared for that ahead of time.

2. Drop your ego and get ready for some humble pie. Many product launch marketers fail
to realise that although you may appear to make a lot of money, you really don’t in the end
because you’re going to give your affiliates a lot of money. But the real reason to do a
launch is so that you can get more influence. If you’re thinking about doing a launch to

make a lot of money then you’re dead wrong. The reason to do a launch is so you can get more
influence in your niche so you can become somewhat of a “big legend”.

3. Find good JV partners who you know can sell well. But don’t forget that you’ll need
to provide them with all of the marketing materials.

4. Have PROOF! Your launch needs to be made up of proof meaning having screenshots of
maybe bank accounts or bank deposit slips, commission checks, successful student/customer
testimonials or perhaps guru endorsements and any other level of proof you can show. You
need to be as credible and trustworthy as possible to your audience or to your potential
customers to reduce any of the risk during your launch.

5. Always be professional especially with the marketing materials and communications
between you and your affiliate/jv partners as well as your customer. You want to establish a
good reputation so that you not only continue to have great JV partners eager to help you
now and with future launches of new products you bring into the market. But you also want
your current customers to buy from you again.

6. Never do a launch by yourself. ALWAYG HAVE JV PARTNERS! You want to have people in
your back pocket. It really takes a team to become successful. That’s how all of the most
successful people do it... just think Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and many others. Their
strong team network made them a ton of money.

7. Have one person in charge of taking care of strategizing your launch. Whether you’ll
have videos, graphic banners, email messages, sales letters etc., you need someone to
coordinate the whole process including the scheduling of all of these things.

8. You want to call your merchant account contact and say, “Hey, I’m doing a launch on
this date.” Let them know a couple of weeks before, then remind them a week before, a day
before, and remind them again the day of. It’s very important. Why would I say something
like that? Because at any point of time your merchant account company can shut you down if
they see too much volume going through. You also want to make sure you have a server geek or
somebody to let your server company know what’s going on.

9. Partner with a product launch creator and you handle all the money – that’s very
important.

10. Call your launch date, because when you call or shall I say announce your launch
date you’re going to find that you’re going to get a lot more people, more people that are
jumping onboard because you have a date set in stone. And that’s also going to make you bust
your butt to make things happen.

11. Make sure you have everything set up properly with your affiliate program. That’s
very important, too. And not only things set up in your affiliate program, but also – you
also want to make sure that your email program is ready for your launch.

12. Get your sales letter done early. The reason you want to get your sales letter done
early is so you can be split testing it and making sure things are happening from there.

13. If you have a good enough prelaunch and if it’s really strong enough, then you
should make sure your order link is a take action link and to the point. Make sure it says
“Click here to buy” and people will do it!

14. Make sure you have strong copy. Spell your offer, make sure you have your guarantee,
and really manage their expectations. You also want to think about maybe a plan for
scarcity. That’s very important, too. Some ways to make scarcity happen is to think about
maybe a limited number release, expiring fast-mover bonuses for example, the site comes down
at midnight. All of those really work well.

15. Some takeaways you can do are no payment plans – maybe, you know, “Can’t afford
it?...” Tell them why they deserve to get your course or product. Application qualifiers
work really well.

16. Test every single one of your order links. Also test all your browsers, all the
browsers like Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. And also be sure to test all the credit
card types, think about the different methods of payment you can take – all the credit
cards, PayPal, phone orders... however you’re doing it. Make sure that information is
visibly on your website so your visitors will know exactly which way they can buy. Will your
website have live chat? Are you going to have a support system? Are you going to have live
answer the phone? Make sure you think about those things.

17. This is really important... if you’re going to do this launch and get JV partners
involved, make sure they don’t just make money off the first offer. They can come in one
offer – but they can make money off of other offers, too.

18. Realize that you’re not done after launch date. Don’t let your buyer joy wear. Keep
your buyers excited even after the launch. You might want to give them immediate access to
something online, maybe password-protected to make them feel special. Do audio messages.
Llet them know when the product / courses are delivered. You have to keep selling to them
and amping them up as well as congratulating them and making them feel lucky that they were
“chosen”. Working with their emotions this way always works!

19. Hire a specialized customer support person or company to manage all of the sales.
You want to over-deliver to your customers and your affiliates.

20. After your launch, plan out a couple of weeks later vacation because you’re going to
need one, I guarantee you.

Do all of these things and I’m certain your launch will be a success!
