How to repair small dents in your car

Once in your lifetime if not more you will probably get a dent in your car and you can take it to panel beaters to get it fixed which can cost hundreds of dollars or you can spend a couple of hours and fix it yourself.

What you will need

filler

piece of clean wood or cardboard

metal scraper

First mix your filler and hardener following the instructions that are on your tin

Then put it onto your piece of clean cardboard or wood make sure it is consistent the whole way through it should all be one colour.

Then apply the filler over your dent using the metal scraper so it reaches over the top of the dent by about 3 mm this is crucial for making it the right shape then wait for it to fully dry it could take up to 24 hours.

You will then have to sand the filler to make it the original shape it was before you got the dent. Then apply several coats of primer then apply your chosen colour of paint and put a layer of clear coat on it to protect it. Following these steps you should be able to get your car looking like normal.Bruno Stevenson also writes on topics such as How to Repair Dents in a Car and How to Repair Dents on Cars Visit Repair Dents in a Car.
