It feels like ever since girls decided to throw out their poodle skirts for stretch pants, everybody has forgotten about how lovely and functional gowns could be. For a long time, girls wanted to wear pants to represent equal views and freedom from the typical perspective of the gender at a certain time. But a century later, would not you think we're past all of that? Why don't individuals realize that gowns could still be just as usable and fitting as they once were?
