SPRING Singapore today announced the launch of GET SINGAPORE, to raise awareness of homegrown retail design ‘gems’ in our own backyard. GET SINGAPORE is a collective brand that acts as a focused marketing platform to showcase well designed, high quality Singapore brands both here and abroad.

Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Mr Lee Yi Shyan, unveiled the new brand identity of GET SINGAPORE at a launch ceremony at VivoCity attended by the Board of GET SINGAPORE, SPRING Singapore and Singapore Tourism Board officials, together with industry guests.

GET SINGAPORE is a joint initiative of SPRING Singapore and the retail industry, supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.

In addition to creating higher awareness of well designed and high quality merchandise conceived and developed in Singapore, GET SINGAPORE will be organizing a series of events and activities targeting consumers and companies in Singapore. These encompass both mall activities, as well as joint initiatives with key strategic partners such as payment system vendors, mall owners, and industry associations.


GET SINGAPORE has been subscribed by 37 brands, comprising large and mid-sized local retailers. It offers participating brands a strategic and unified platform to showcase and market their brands and merchandise to a wider audience in Singapore and abroad. About 15 of the 37 Singapore retail brands have overseas markets in a total of 27 countries outside of Singapore.

SPRING Singapore’s Director for Retail, Furniture, Textile & Apparel, Mrs Kee Ai Nah, said,“GET SINGAPORE will reinforce Singapore’s reputation for good quality and authentic products that reflect the cosmopolitan, multi-cultural sophistication of Singapore retail brands and merchandise. As it builds up its brand equity, it can also serve as an excellent vehicle for local retailers to create awareness of their brands in overseas markets through a collective marketing platform.”


Ms Kim Faulkner, Acting CEO of GET SINGAPORE Brands Ltd said, “Collectively, GET SINGAPORE will promote Singapore as a place where good design and innovative retail ideas flourish. In fact, several of the participating brands have taken their concepts abroad and have already built a strong regional and international customer base. Others have made it onto the covers of leading fashion and lifestyle publications in the region, as well as mentions in popular blogs, where one of our retail brands has been singled out for its exotic skin fashion accessories having quality that can match fashion maisons in Europe.”

GET SINGAPORE is a non-profit, collective brand that showcases and promotes some of the nation’s most dynamic merchandise brands. Participating brands sign up on annual basis to be a part of this collective marketing platform and all proceeds go towards the marketing and promotional activities undertaken on a group basis for the participating brands.
