You just got engaged and now plans for the wedding are on its way. One aspect of the wedding that creates a headache for the bride and groom is their wedding giveaways. Usually, they want it special and unique that people will treasure for a lifetime.
In one of the weddings that I went to, I was amazed at the giveaways that the couple had for their souvenirs. They had a combination of home-made Belgian chocolates of their favorite flavors plus miniature red wines.
The box that holds these were made to follow the motif of the wedding plus the emblem or initials of the couple. It was also shaped like a guitar since both the bride and groom are musicians.
The box was not the ordinary box you buy that is mass produced. I asked the couple about it and they said that it was 100% handmade. The design was all their own.
According to them, they got in touch with the person who made the boxes, discussed the design they wanted, worked on the prototype until they were satisfied with the end product. They wanted their wedding giveaway to be special, something that people will equate with their special moment.
The box for the wedding giveaway is so special that I did not have the heart to throw it away. In fact, it is displayed in my leaving room until now. I also had some boxes made for me to store my shoes in. I have a lot of designer footwear and thought of storing them in boxes that has windows so that I can see what is in them.
So, I went in and got in touch with the person who made the wedding giveaways for my friends. I asked the owner if he is willing to make the boxes for me being that he makes boxes for wedding giveaways, he said that he also does boxes for other purposes.
We discussed my design, he give me a prototype after a couple of days. To add more of my personal touch, I had the box covered with paper of my favorite color with my name printed on it. I was so happy with the outcome. Now I have my shoes tucked away safely, all thanks to the wedding giveaways that gave me this bright idea.
