OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Training program attempts to identify OSHA’s standards corresponding to specific hazardous conditions and practices, identify the aspects of 1926 subpart C, enforce preventive measures for accidents in workplace, describe the types of personal protective equipments, requirements for fire protection, identify the types of rigging equipments for employees’ protection, identify common electrical hazards, welding and cutting hazards, importance of scaffolding, protection of workers and equipments from dangerous falls, in excavation sites, concrete and masonry jobs, and from explosive and blasting agents, as well as from hazards associated with confined spaces. The General Industry Training program also gives comprehensive information on compliance issues.
