Anybody who saw the original version with the "Hoff" remembers Kit, the Knight Rider car. Kit was a Trans am, plus was truly a beautiful thing. Possibly its most distinctive attribute - aside from the pedantic and crabby talking personal computer - was the row of red LEDs across the hood. They would all blink in sequence and make different sounds while the camera did a close-up of it.
I imagine this new Knight Rider production calls for a new Kit, and they surely haven't hesitated to mix matters up a little. While they still employ a dark, US-made muscle car, everything else has changed. The new Kit is actually a Mustang - while a really souped up one at that. According to what I've heard about it, the car is a Mustang Shelby GT 500. It decidedly has a bulkier, stronger look to it than the last one. Whenever you saw that original Firebird, you somewhat could see how it would be able to fly. This new Kit, even so, seems much strony and more hard. It will be easier for people to believe it when the Mustang shrugs off ammunition as if they were rain drops.
One thing I don't like about the new Kit is the fact that it no more has the glowing row of red LEDs on it. Nevertheless, it does include a horde of dandy high-tech gadgets that wasn't there on the last one. There is a TV screen in the car that will display cool graphics while KIT the car talks. I'm sure the special effects will be improved too, and the weapon systems may be a great deal more high-tech. There are lots of changes in the Knight Rider car, yet, I'm certain possibly the most inflexible purists will be able to be happy about the Mustang. I know I am already drooling at the expectation of seening it hunt down criminals.
Seemingly, the old Kit has been put on the market.I'm not surprised by this. With all the publicity that the new production is having as a result of its reintroduction, the owner of the last one is probably figuring that he or she can get a few bucks out of the sale. And it undoubtedly will cost a small fortune. I've discovered that the price of the Kit was around 200K dollars - Not precisely chickenfeed. I'm sort of envious of whoever buys it. I was a huge lover of the old production myself.
