The best time for earning income from home is in times of economic reform. It is during these periods of turmoil that innovation and ingenuity overtake the status quo.

Right now, the whole world is restructuring its financial structures. The United States has already elevated corporate regulation to new levels and entered sectors of the economy that have been predominately privatized. As of late,
the government is now in the banking business, the mortgage business, the car business, and will soon be in the healthcare business.

Corporations are also making major reforms in the ways they operate in order to cut back on their expenses. Not surprisingly, one of the largetst cutbacks is in the area of human resources. Instead of hiring full-time employees, many of these business behemoths are turning to contractural arrangments on a project to project basis. This equates to not only fewer jobs available, but also fewer benefits.

Even colleges and Universities are feelng the crunch.

I have a friend who works for a small college in Atlanta as the assistant director of bands. However, his position is considered adjunct only and he has yet to be offered any benefits whatsoever.

He is one of the lucky ones. My brother-in-law, who graduated summa cum laude with his Ph.D. and numerous other accolades from the University of Florida, can't even get a job at the unversity level. In light of the fact that the department from which he graduated at UF has the most prestigious reputation in their field, I'd say that is pretty depressing.

So much for economic stimulus packages!

All of these factors combine to create the perfect climate for starting your own business with the aim of earning an income from home.

But aren't you taking a risk when you venture out on your own into the unknown territory of home based business?

No more than the risk you take by stepping outside your front door each morning to go to work.

Besides the obvious saftey concerns that face you during your commute, you can never be sure if you are even going to have a job when you get there! Not to mention the fact that you are always limited in the amount you can make when you work for someone else.

On the other hand, when you choose to earn an income from home like so many others are doing right now, the only limit to your income is your own imagination. That, and the amount ot knowledge you accumulate about the right kinds of subjects.

You see, it's really not about how busy you are right now. You can start with as little as 30 minutes per week. Of course, the more time you are able to commit to your business upfront, the faster you will grow your earnings and the faster you will be able to outsource your work and have even more time.

Of course, there is a lot of competition out there. The good news is, there are networks of people who have already done the legwork and who will work with you to get around the usual hurdles in earning an income from home.

Your task, if this is the course you choose, will be to align yourself with the right one.
