Beginning with body, in general all Mini models have high- tech aluminium alloy frames provided to make body crash proof. Car bodies are itself supported on same frame which are torsion resistant. They claim Mini bodies to be twice or more hardy as compared to competing brands. Stability of car bodies is particularly well attained with use of improved design of suspensions. Body designing has been with specific care for wheel-at-each-corner, positioned precisely with multi-link rear axle. Company further calls it to be strongest safety feature of Mini models. Standard safety gadgetry for front section is front and side airbags, and head airbag. Similar airbag safety support system is provided to the rear section also, though optional. Certain safety features are model specific. Stability features of convertible models are designed as one of best engineered structures. There is no destablisation of convertibles even when turning on curves at high speed.
