Deloitte on Israeli Public Companies: Challenges and Learnings

Deloitte will be organizing a conference for the Public Companies Organization, 'The Semi-Annual Economic-Financial Conference'. The firm will be sponsoring this second 2006 Association of Publicly Traded Companies and DC Finance's Semi-Annual Economic-Financial Conference.


The Semi-Annual Economic-Financial Conference has been scheduled to begin on November 8, 2006 at 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hilton in Tel Aviv. This conference has been systematically divided into several sessions to enable discussion on all important and relevant issues.


There will a discourse on the options in exchange laying special emphasis on the AMEX (American Stock Exchange), LSE and AIM (London Stock Exchange), NASDAQ, EURONEXT and NYSE (New York Stock Exchange. There will be a discussion on time, situation and the ways in which the organization should go public with emphasis on Tel Aviv law and USA law firms.


The viewpoints of Israeli and London underwriters are also to be discussed. The investor's perspective will include a panel of Israeli investors to talk about VC and private equity funds. A panel of Israeli company CFOs will speak about the IPO successes and limitations, and their recent experiences in going public in Europe and the US. There will also be scope for personal interaction and collaboration among the participants.


This conference will enable participants to interact with industry peers, listen to discussions, converse about relevant issues and learn about latest developments and changes in the financial-economic scenario.


The conference last July has more than 200 top-notch professionals from the Israeli capital market, with good media hype and coverage and proved to be a great success.
