SD.I (System Development Integration, Inc.), a public sector systems integrator specializing in command environment systems, infrastructure and operations, announced that Scott Rupple has joined the Firm's senior management team as Vice President of Operations and Delivery. Rupple has over 30 years of business and management consulting experience with deep expertise in program management, business systems planning and analysis, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. At SD.I, Rupple will direct overall service delivery, as well as aid in investor relations and corporate development activities. Previously, Rupple was Vice President/Partner at Diamond Technology Partners Inc. (now Diamond Management Consultants) where he was involved in the Process and Operations practice. Rupple has previously held positions as Chief Operating Officer at eBusiness solution provider ThoughtWorks, Inc., as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management, College of Business at Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI, and at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).



• Cityblock, one of the fastest growing commercial real estate services providers in Phoenix, recently announced the hiring of Doug Deyo as President of Cityblock. This addition to Cityblock allows the organization to meet the growing market demands in the Phoenix area for commercial construction services and building services. These services include tenant improvements, HVAC construction and maintenance, building maintenance, general contracting, and space planning. As President, Deyo will focus on the continued growth of Cityblock and strengthening the company reputation. Prior to joining Cityblock, Deyo was the Administrative Officer for Transportation Security Authority (TSA) at Chicago Midway International Airport. In this capacity he managed extensive facility and operational responsibilities and oversaw a staff of 550 employees. Deyo also has previous experience working with industry leaders such as Accenture and Aramark.


• TECHNOLOGY veteran and former businesswoman of the year Sheryle Moon is the new head of the Australian Information Industry Association. Ms Moon, who has worked in the IT industry for 25 years, took up the role, replacing Rob Durie as chief executive. After working in the IT sector in senior leadership positions such as vice-president of Computer Sciences Corp and a managing partner with Accenture, Ms Moon left the industry to head up recruitment and staffing at Manpower Services Australia. She recently headed a project examining front-end replacement systems for the company. In 1999, Ms Moon was named Australian Business Woman of the Year. She sits on a number of government advisory boards.
