The Federal Reserve warned consumers that individuals who represent themselves as having a relationship or partnership with the Federal Reserve have recently been soliciting consumers with promises of financial services or loans for large sums of money in exchange for personal information for a payment schedule; at which point the consumer’s bank account is accessed.

Remember to please use caution and verify credentials of those individuals who solicit you for business. Never give any personal or financial information to anyone unless you are absolutely sure of their validity. If you are looking for help with credit repair and or home/mortgage financing then only do business with reputable providers. Get a referral from a friend, trusted advisor, Realtor or contact a local nonprofit community organization.
