Jimbaran Bay beaches are lined with smashing places to stay from hotels to traditional villas, the kind of hotel that you should expect here is from mid range to five star Bali accommodation. As with all more expensive places in Bali the service that you should expect is unrivaled. All the Jimbaran Bay hotels will provide what are basic facilities for these kinds of establishments ; aircon, in house restaurants, bars and 24 hour room service will be the standard package and the personal service you should expect will become more quality orientated as the rates increase. Just a few mins from the beach there is some more isolated hillside accommodation that offers better views and more private facilities. Hotels all offer shuttle services for you to go to the beach or visit Kuta which is only five mins drive away.

Even though there remains the presence of local fisherman staying here, Jimbaran Bay budget accommodation is thin and is more customized to the up market tourist, with the costlier resorts offering private swimming pools, and as you travel a bit more south or north, personal beaches. All hotels are fantastically landscaped with tropical gardens that are extremely well tended and presented. Bali has always created hotels and villas that have remarkable views and fantastic services and Jimbaran resorts provide all that may be anticipated from quality Balinese hospitality.

Jimbaran is situated in the south not far away from Bali International airport, where all Bali flights land. Though this is a truly popular holiday destination it hasn't become as commercial as the other places in Bali. Almost all of the seaside resorts that have sprung up along the coast of Bali were tiny fishing villages at one point, that have changed into large commercial visitor attractions. All these resorts have left behind their fishing history and concentrate absolutely on tourism as a source of income.

Staying in one of the Jimbaran Bay hotels is a novel experience as the village, though geared towards tourism, has still kept its fishing industry and it is not uncommon to see the fisherman on the beach with their traditional fishing boats and nets. The town itself is also a mixture of the old and the new. Almost all of the other places to stay in Bali have a beach covered with cafes, bars, clubs and shops that are a hundred percent for the utilization of holiday makers. Jimbaran is a fabulous place to stay as the main strip is still suggestive of an Indonesian town that has not been exploited by the holiday maker industry. Walking along here you'll find food stalls and other facilities that are essentially used by the local Balinese fishing community.

Jimbaran beach is a long beach with the dazzling white sand that Bali is known for with flat water all year. The mixture of native and tourist places makes it an energetic and interesting place to stay, the architecture though mainly consisting of tourist resorts and hotels is also mixed in with the local inhabitants conventional dwellings. It is a pity, but as the visitor industry grows, this tranquil town will probably go the way of the other popular destinations and it won't be too long before the colourful fishing boats of the fisherman are not lining the beach.
