If an Internet marketer has more than one product, more than one source of advertising and more than one of anything else.....guess what?.....a well thought out plan is a necessity.

The Internet in general, and Internet Marketing in particular can be a major time waster.

Don't believe it? Simply keep a record of how much time is spent on the internet, and just what is actually achieved.
Here is an example to ponder on;
- Check emails, and every time more information has been requested, bet your life that you have added yourself to somebody's list.
Scan a few headlines, open a few which look interesting, click on a few links, read a few web sites.
If credit based safelists are subscribed to, there will be a whole swag of credit links to click.

Look at the clock, and an hour or more can have easily slipped by.
- Traffic Exchanges? More time consumers, with clicking on an image or number. An hour or two can be gone before realizing.
- Forums, Social marketing, Blogs-more hours can easily disappear.

If an eight hour a day job is worked, it allows for very limited time to be spent on the computer after arriving home.
Every minute has become exceptionally precious.

To achieve the best of results, a solid plan needs to be drawn up and followed. Lets have a look at just what needs to be squeezed into the precious hours available.
- website content needs to be generated or updated.
- Traffic Generation, including manual surfing.
- Auto responder and safelist email preparation.

- Read and update your Blog.
- Check your emails, deal with the ones which need to be dealt with.
- Develop a product, such as rewriting PLR articles or EBooks.
...and more that have not been listed here.

A plan is a must to get the best return on the time investment. Such a plan does need to be made in advance.
When the seat is taken at the computer, it will be set out just what is to be achieved.
Ignore all distractions, don't be tempted to read too many sites and sign up for too many lists or courses. Just the opposite, if you don't read emails from a particular list owner, unsubscribe from it. Be brutal, be ruthless. Time is precious, time is money.
Draw up a timetable and allocate tasks just like making appointments.

Fill out just exactly what needs to be done - like this;
MONDAY 9.00 start rewriting blah blah articles.
10.00am surf x,y & z traffic exchanges
11.30am update the blog with comment on ....

And so it goes on, just follow the example.
Maximizing time will eliminate wastage, "surfing" without a clear goal. As more familiarity is gained, it will become second nature.
Your rate of success will increase as a result, with time being spent on the productive elements of Internet Marketing.
