He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shade of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, he is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God,' on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
For [then] he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly disease. [Then] he is going to cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge ; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. You shall not be scared of the fear of the night, nor of the arrow ( the evil plots and slanders of the cruel ) that flies by day,
Nor of the disease that stalks in darkness, nor of the elimination and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. Only a viewer shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
For he's going to give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all of your strategies [of obedience and service].
Because he has set his love on Me, so will I deliver him ; I'm going to set him on high, as he knows and understands My name [has a private knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness -trusts and depends on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

The Bible tells us that in the last days men's hearts will fail them for fear of the things that are going to come on the earth. ( See Luke 21:26. Some are frightened to get on an airplane. Some are fearful of the dark. Others are terrified of driving in the city.
God, [**] does not want His folks scared. God wants His folks trustworthy. But you can't be trustworthy when you're afraid. We learned in an earlier chapter the word'salvation' comes from the Greek word sozo, meaning soundness, wholeness, healing, preservation, deliverance, provision, and protection. He is's our all in all. It doesn't matter where you are or what conditions of life surround you. You could be in the inner town in the middle of a drive-by shooting, you may be where bombs are going off or where planes are crashing.
