WoW Retribution Paladins, or Ret Paladins, are very tough characters in World of Warcraft. Not not quite as mana efficient or as great with the healing as their Holy brothers. And not quite the bullet-proof tanks that Protection Paladins are.
But what they are good at is dealing damage. Dealing Lots of damage. Lots.
And if you want to hack through the game and level at maximum speed the Ret Paladin is the Paladin build of choice. While their healing is not top notch, a little focus in inteligence and stamina can have them healing enough to be very hard to kill too.
But one thing you must bear in mind is that Ret paladins are very gear dependant. So you need the very best weapons, and here are the 5 most powerful Ret Paladin Weapons in Azeroth:
1 Trident of the Outcast Tribe. This baby binds when you pick it up. It's a 2-handed polearm with a sweet 270 - 406 damage and speed of 3.20. It also has 105.6 damage per second and 711 feral attack power! Giving you +37 strength and +54 stamina. It's durability is 120/120, it has an item level of 100 and you need to be level 70 to get it. It's a reputation reward you get when you become exalted with the Lower City faction.
2 Gladiator's Great Sword. Another binder when picked up. This 2-handed sword does an incredible 341-513 damage at speed 3.60 (118.6 per second). Gives +32 strength, +48 Stamina, has a Durability of 120/120, and is item level 123. It also gives boosters to hit rating, critical strike and resilience. Quite a ridiculously tough weapon you'll get as a PvP reward.
3 Gladiator's Bonegrinder. Binds again. This 2-handed Mace does the same damage as Gladiator's Great Sword, but with 893 feral attack power! All the other details are the same as the Great Sword. Another PvP reward.
4 Gladiator's Decapitator. Another PvP reward that binds when picked up. This huge axe deals the same damage as the other two Gladiator weapons, but only gives +48 Stamina, no bonus to strength. On the other hand it does increase your attack power by 64 which quite makes up for it!
And last but by no means least, is the best of them all:
5 The Blade of Harbringers. Binding when picked up, this level 146 god-like axe deals a terrific 375 - 563 damage with speed 3.50 (134 damage per second!!). It improves critical strike by 55, haste by 53 and raises attack power by 108! Get your hands on this axe. You only need 150 Badges of Justice and it's yours for the taking!
