Are you tired of all the clutter that is necessary for your bathroom, but have no place that is convenient to store the items? Here is an answer to that problem-bathroom cabinets.

Bathroom cabinets may take the form of a sink base. If they fit with your decor, there are some beautiful sink bases that look like an old fashioned wash stand. These bases come in either a single or double sink set up. The sink base takes advantage of otherwise wasted space in your bathroom.

Be careful about what you store under the sink if you have toddlers in the home. Many of the bathroom cleaners are poisonous to humans. Be sure to read labels and store all such supplies out of reach and sight of children.

If you have a large bathroom with no storage, look for an empty wall that could be filled with cabinets. This will provide you with several cubbies that can hold almost anything needed in the bathroom. In addition, you may find storage for towels and linens.

Look at the wall above the toilet. Is this just wasted space where some shallow cabinets could be installed? Be sure to choose units that are shallow enough that you will not hit your head when you stand up.

Try looking in adjoining rooms to see if a cabinet could be installed as a recessed cabinet. The cabinet doors could open into the bath and give you the necessary storage. You will need the proper clearance for the doors to open.

If you cannot give up the room in the adjacent room, then try a cabinet that is just recessed into the wall. Although small, this cabinet can give you a place to get some of your stuff off the floor and behind a door. A good place for this installation is above the bathroom sink, but only if there is not a vent pipe in the wall.

When living in rental units, consider one of the storage cabinets which do not need to be installed into the room. These portable units can go with you when you make your next move. Some units have wheels and can be moved as needed within the bathroom.

If none of the solutions mentioned so far will work, then consider a surface mount medicine cabinet. They take up little room, offer a mirror and some storage space for all your goods. While small, the space will be much appreciated.

When you choose cabinets, you will need to choose between cabinets that are pre-made and those that are custom built. For quick and easy installation at a great price choose pre-made cabinets. For bathrooms that present special problems, you will want to have custom cabinets built. These cabinets will be able to fit around any odd shapes in the bathroom.

Bathroom cabinets should be finished with a waterproof finish. Remember that bathrooms have high humidity, especially after showers. You will want a finish that can protect your cabinet during these times of high humidity.

Solve the storage problems in your bathroom with beautiful bathroom cabinets.
