You must hold yourself accountable to practice

So here's the long and short of it.
I was born and raised in Madison, WI which provided me with a great balance of mid-western sensibility and progressive thought.
I needed to get away from home for awhile as a young adult. Naturally as an aspiring musician, I took the plunge and made a move to Nashville.
While in Nashville, I spent some time studying music at Belmont University, and jumped into the corporate world (totaling almost 9 years).
Being a non-conformist, and having a severe disdain for authority, I decided to kick the corporate bucket and focus on two things that I love; writing and music.

My style is pretty straightforward, and although I stay as professional as possible, I detest pretension.
What I want most for my readers is to gain the inspiration to follow their passion, whatever it may be (and maybe a few laughs in the process).
