The Domaine de Lavagnac in the South of France Languedoc region is set to become the premier resort for the region. The development is a very interesting investment opportunity for both financial gains and enjoyment. As investors can currently purchase a property for an initial low deposit of 10% with the remainder of the 25 year term mortgage paid for them via guaranteed rental, investors also get 4 weeks usage per year.

The development consists of a rage of luxurious homes featuring modern architecture; an 18 Hole Championship Golf Course & Clubhouse and a luxurious 1000m2 Spa.

The chateau (and its 5-star hotel) is the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the estate – which will be surrounded by a range of top quality facilities all within easy walking distance of the homes and all perfectly placed in 192 hectares of un-spoilt woodlands and vineyards. In fact there will only be a 3% building density over the whole development site making the Domaine de Lavagnac one of the lowest build density projects in Europe.

The Domaine de Lavagnac is located within one of many very individual ‘hamlets’ and ‘avenues’ scattered within the pine forests and vineyards of the estate. All of the properties have been designed to follow the natural contours of the land - striking a perfect balance between privacy and a unique sense of community.

All the homes will be unique with there own individual landscaping and colours which ensure a different feel and identity of each home and all will be will be built from the highest-quality, natural materials, such as Mediterranean oak, Caune marble and local limestone.

The resort is being marketed off plan at the moment and the demand is very high as France and more specifically the Languedoc Roussillon region is a very attractive place for both tourists and holiday home buyers, here are two recent news items which highlight this trend.

On the 11th of August 2009 Ryanair announced it would open its 34th base at Leeds Bradford Airport in March 2010 with two based aircraft and 14 new routes being launched, one of which is Montpellier in Languedoc. This will further open up the Languedoc region to increased visitors and will have a positive impact on the 5 star luxurious Domaine de Lavagnac which as stated earlier is set to become the premier resort in the region.

Also another recent news article (17th September) on the IFAonline website called ‘France steals top spot for Brits buying abroad’ shows statistics that France has stolen Spain’s crown as Britons’ destination of choice for buying property abroad as investors look to developed markets. The research suggests investors are sticking to more proven locations, with France accounting for almost a third of enquires received by the company mentioned in the article.

These two facts highlight the increased attraction of France for UK property buyers and therefore are a good indication of the attractiveness of the Domaine de Lavagnac development, which is proving to be very successful as sources state that units are being regularly reserved.

The Domaine De Lavagnac offers an attractive long term investment with guaranteed returns in the form of the investor’s mortgage and all costs being paid for them combined with 4 weeks personal usage in a top premier resort for the investor’s enjoyment.
