What is the best way to learn about stocks for beginners? I have always found that the best way to increase your investing knowledge is to surround yourself with people who already know more than you. With anything in life this is generally the best way to drastically increase your knowledge or performance. When it comes to learning about stocks this is just the cure, especially for beginners . One method of achieving this that is often forgotten is joining an investment club. Before you become a successful stock market investor it is vital that you
A/ Get some great stock advice and training
B/ You have a forum where you can ask questions and fine tune your techniques.
This is why an Investment club can be a fantastic place to start

An investment club is usually a group of people who all share the common interest of investing. Generally they will meet once a week and discuss their different trading ideas. Some clubs even play a regular ‘stocks for beginners’ game of the rat race. Occasionally these investment clubs actually create a stock market portfolio together and invest actually money into the markets. If you are just beginning your stock market career then this can be a great way to not only get some exposure into the market but give you the feeling of what it is like to have real money on the line. Stock market investing success is highly related to your mindset - most stocks for beginner’s books concentrate on the strategies rather than the mindset issues. No matter how good your Investment strategies are if you don’t have good control over the mental aspect of investing you simply won’t succeed.

What Will You Learn?
In some clubs everyone is given different responsibilities within the club. Some members might be given the task of doing some fundamental research on a stock while others might focus their attention on the technical side of things. When you are just beginning at a club you might be able to share a person’s job and sit with them whilst they do their weekly tasks. This can be invaluable as soon you will be able to complete any of the tasks yourself.

Leverage is the Key to Knowledge
Another great advantage of belonging to stocks for beginners investment club is that you can achieve so much more research than if you were doing it all by yourself. Like any task, the more people you have contributing the quicker you should be able to get things done. In turn this allows you to spend more time on the important decisions and on your life outside investing.
Less Risk?
Generally by being involved in an investment club your investment risk is diminished. Why? Because you will normally do more research on each decision that you make and if something is not right there is more chance that somebody will notice it, this therefore increases the chances of successful investment returns. Plus, the education and knowledge that you will gain from the other members will help you build your investment strategies and help you if you decide to invest by yourself. .

So whether your investment club is actually investing in stocks or simply a stocks for beginners club, remember that being an active and contributing member is always the best way to learn. Investing the stock market can be a difficult job at the best of times so having a group of like minded people to help and support you is truly a great idea. I wish you all the success with your investing and hope that you can find a great investment club in your area or online. Remember that even the best investors like Warren Buffet started by reading stocks for beginner’s books.
