Turn your article into thousands in seconds flat! What a great idea! Article spinners would like us to believe that they can produce hundreds of unique articles from just one seed article. They can if used properly. If used as advertised, however, the results can be very hit and miss.
While thinking about duplicate content I looked up one of my old articles. Some of the versions I found were quite amusing. Many of them were an exact copy. Some had been completely butchered by an article spinner. This sentence in particular got me laughing.
"Again, nonetheless, we desire be focusing on the obviate manifestation which is called, Google Adwords: Keyword Tool." You don't say!
So, why even use an article spinner anyway? You certainly should be getting the most from each of your articles. At the least your should be posting your article to a few of the top article directories. Be sure to also place your articles on your own website, social media sites, your various blogs and even your email newsletters.
The point is having as many people as possible be exposed to your article. With the advent of the duplication filter this can pose a bit of a challenge. Article spinners can help solve this problem. But as we saw earlier, if not used properly, the results can be quite unreadable.
By replacing individual words with synonyms article spinners create unique content. In theory, this works very well. However, in practice the results can leave a little to be desired. Look at these two sentences, for example.
"Article spinners can be quite dangerous if used incorrectly."
"Article spinners could be very perilous if given to wrongly."
They both have relatively the same meaning. Which one looks better? Which one is easier to read? The first one makes more sense to me. So, what makes it more natural sounding? Why does it make more sense? It makes more sense because it was written by a live person. Before you ask, yes I am a real person! You see, that is the key. Being written by a live person. Article spinners definitely can work, but only if you add the element of natural human speech to them.
One technique I use is with an article spinner called Mass Article Creator. Instead of replacing each word with a synonym, replace entire sentences with ones that you personally write. Let's take a look at how this might work. Look below at the next three sentences.
"Article spinners can be quite dangerous if used incorrectly."
"If used incorrectly article spinners can produce unwanted results."
"If not used correctly, article spinners can produce unreadable material."
Each one conveys the same meaning. They are all natural and easy to read. I certainly hope so, at any rate! By rewriting each sentence into two or three alternatives you can easily produce quite a few unique articles. Each one having the same meaning and each one easy to read and understand.
Not quite as easy and fast as pushing a button and having it do all the work for you. But we don't just write articles for back links. Wouldn't you say? Your articles are to help spread ideas, educate and teach people. In other words, they are meant to provide value for the community you are writing for. Links back to your site is just a nice benefit.
Finally, there are many article spinners for you to use. You can even find some great free ones as well. The one I use is a paid program called Mass Article Creator. Just be sure that, aside from replacing words, you can replace entire sentences and whole paragraphs. Even if you wrote every sentence yourself be sure to proof read your work before submitting it.
