Lately I have been hearing from many coaches who have been spending hundreds (some tell me thousands!!) of hours on social networking web sites, but they are not able to get any clients there. You know how it is - you join a social networking web site, get a few connections, and start talking to your connections.
The next thing you know, you've spent a few hours on the web site. You like the social networking web site, so you keep coming back to it to hang out with people you know. It's fun and all, but you are not seeing any results - you are not getting any clients coming to your web site and contacting you.
While it is probably fun to hang out on those social networking web sites, you are wasting your time there if you are not getting any coaching clients. And if you continue to do what you are doing there now, you will continue wasting your time and not getting any coaching clients.
It is time to change that! This article will teach all about getting coaching clients on social networking web sites, so that you can stop wasting your time there and start getting clients every day!
Here are three things that you must do in order to start getting coaching clients using social media:
1. Find Your Target Market On Social Networking Web Sites. Your primary goal for using social networking web sites is to connect with your target market. You want to get to know your target market and to networking with people in your target market. You also want those people to get to know who you are and what you do.
People do business with people they know, like and trust. When people who meet you on social networking web sites get to know you, like you, and trust you, they will be much more likely to work with you, it is that simple.
2. Make Sure That Your Profile Reflects Who You Are. Make sure that your social networking profile shares enough information with your target market to convince them that you are an expert at what you do. When your target market knows that you are an expert, they are much more likely to work with you.
3. Offer Your Target Market Something Of Value. The next thing that you want your target market to do is to get on your list. And the best way to accomplish that is to offer your target market something of value in exchange for getting on your list.
Offer your target market a free audio recording, report or ebook, so that they subscribe to your list.
4. Be Consistent. Participating in social networking web sites once a month will not help you get coaching clients. Your target market needs to see you there consistently, in order to consider working with you. Be consistent about networking, and you are going to gain a much larger following and many more clients.
