Explore. Discover. Awaken.
And this is one exploration that is sure to leave you spellbound.
What we’re talking about is your journey within yourself, one that will make you happier, more enriched and empowered.
The Centre for Self-Awakening located at BTM Layout, “provides an opportunity for individuals to awaken their highest personal potential,” explains Dr Vinaya Prabha Baligar, a qualified and experienced Cognitive psychotherapist and Founder of the Centre. Hence the tagline: `Explore. Discover. Awaken’.
The Centre For Self Awakening offers a varied range of activities and services, all directed at personal empowerment, self-realization and fulfilling one’s true potential. From Book Clubs to Personal Empowerment Groups to Transformation Workshops and Counseling services, the centre has it all.
The Centre offers one-to-one
counseling services by Dr.Vinaya Baligar and her team of qualified psychologists. Counseling is offered in diverse areas including marital counseling, pre-marital counseling, relationship counseling, family, career, study problems, work-life balance, anxiety, depression, stress and counseling for old age issues to name a few. The latest counseling techniques are used to give maximum benefits to the clients.
Besides counseling, the Centre conducts regular workshops known as Transformation Workshops on a variety of subjects like assertiveness, self-awareness, stress management anger management, life skills and people skills in its premises.
And that’s not all. The Centre offers unique activities in the form of Book Club meets and Personal Empowerment Group meets.
The Book Club is held on the last Friday of the month and the members discuss and debate books on self improvement. As Gitika Goyal, one of the members of the Centre and a regular at the Book Club says, “Every book provides us with a new learning experience and discussing it with the other members and implementing the suggestions from the book provides a new outlook to life and personal growth.”
The Personal Empowerment Group also known as Koham as the name suggests, provides a platform for discussion on issues as varied as self-awareness, creative visualization, personal empowerment and self-growth.
“With our group members having diverse interests like music, journalism, meditation, yoga, animation, ayurveda, astrology, spirituality etc, we share our knowledge and understanding within the groups. This opens up avenues for discussion, debate and also learning and growth,” Usha Mallesh, another of the Centre’s members who has been part of one Koham group for over a year.
There are two Koham groups that meet at the Centre twice every month.
An all-women enterprise, the Centre for Self Awakening sure has a lot to look forward to just as it has to offer to women – and men too – looking to broaden their horizons.
