In other words, you will have a better view of what is actually going on during your ride. You can also get a set of snowboard goggles that will fit over your glasses, if you wear glasses. Normal goggles won’t do this, so you need to be aware of that.
You can a variety of different coatings on your lenses. For example, you can get polarization on your lenses which will help with the glare from the sun as well as glare from the snow. Mirrored coatings can also help with the glare.
