In this article we are going to compare step by step EyeCare Player VS PowerDVD. They are both retail competitors so we are going to state differences between them.

First thing we will focus on played formats. There is not a lot to compare here as they both support a wide range of them and the most used are present in both. Not a big difference in them in this field.

Installing both is very easy and guided step by step, it won’t make a big difference in this field either.

The first difference we can see is when we start the program, the User’s interface of PowerDVD is rather messy and bothers user instead of helping. PowerDVD’s UI has been very much criticized in the past but they still stick to it for some unknown reason. Eyecare’s UI is simple and intuitive and doesn’t bother the user at all, it is made for its main purpose, helping the user and be as less noticeable as possible. Another fact to consider is when we reach the skins in them; we can find more skins in EyeCare Player than in PowerDVD and we must say they look better. On the overall, EyeCare Player is more customizable than PowerDVD and it is easier to use. Options are better arranged in EyeCare Player and at a first glance it was easier for us to use features and options in it than in PowerDVD.

But the most significant difference comes when we reach the features part. On the overall, PowerDVD is a nice player but just does that with movies, it plays them. With EyeCare Player movies are not only played, they are greatly enhanced and their quality is improved. EyeCare Player includes a contrast enhancing option that results in images being shown clearer without adjusting the overall brightness of the screen. With its brand new patented algorithm it only enhances what needs to be enhanced, adjusting every image to the optimal contrast ratio. This is not only good for your eyes, it is also more beautiful and nice.

EyeCare Player takes advantage of the latest processors like Dual Core. It uses Dual Core processors to enhance the quality of the video being played and to run faster. PowerDVD as the rest of players is not optimized for this new technology and it is not taking any benefit from it. What is the point in spending big money in expensive processors if our software is not taking profit from it? With Eyecare software we are taking the most profit to our money.

So, the comparison is over and the winner is EyeCare Player by KO.
