BMW Spoiler is a part added to the car for modification. It modifies the air flow which improves the handling and increases the efficiency of the car.
In detail a BMW spoiler is an automotive aerodynamic part which is designed and placed for functioning in manner to spoil the unwanted un wanted air movement across the body of the vehicle in motion. Spoilers which are place on the front of the vehicle are called air damns, because in addition to directing the air floe they also reduce the amount of the air flowing underneath the vehicle also reduce aerodynamic lift. BMW spoilers are often used by the high performance and racing cars for getting the high balance lift and speed. Now a day they become common in the normal vehicles also. Sometimes people add spoilers to their car for good look but with the worse aerodynamics. This can make the car aerodynamic worse and give some bad effect to the performance of the car.

BMW spoilers give a good and attractive look to the cars. That’s why these spoilers are loved by the drivers and now a days becoming more popular. A wide range of designs and colors are available for the BMW spoilers. With time the coast and the performance of these BMW spoilers are also becoming very high.
Operation of the BMW Spoilers: A BMW Spoilers function can be explained as by disrupting or diffusing the airflow over and around the moving vehicle. This diffusion is accomplished by increasing amounts of turbulence flow over the shape of the vehicle. Laminar flow of the air is spoiled and cushion is provided for the laminar layer. But these spoilers are often added solely for appearance with no thoughts of performance and practical purpose.

The main design and goal of the BMW Spoiler in vehicle is to reduce Drag and increase fuel efficiency. While many often imitate wings and airfoils, these serve mostly decorative purpose. BMW vehicle can be equipped with front and rear spoilers. Front spoilers found beneath the bumper, are mainly used to direct air flow from the tires to the under body where the drag coefficient is less. Rear BMW Spoilers, modify the transaction in shape between the roof and the trunk and the rear, act to minimize the turbulence at the rear of the vehicle.
BMW sports car are mostly commonly use the front and rear spoilers. Even though they are intend with more rigid body and a stiffer suspension to add in for high speed, a spoiler is still beneficial for them with a good aerodynamics. Because of that many vehicles have a fairly steep downward angle going from the rear edge of the roof to the trunk or the tail of the car. When a car achieves very high speed that time air flowing across the roof tumbles over this edge, causing air flow separation, the flow of the air become turbulent and a low pressure zone is created. Which increase the Drag and Stability of the car. When we add the rear spoil to the car it makes the air see a longer, gentler slope from the roof of the spoiler, which helps the delay flow separation. Which increase the drag and the efficiency of the car. Which make the car much economical. Which also help in keeping the rear window clean.

BMW Spoilers are usually comprised of:
1. ABS plastic: BMW Spoilers made up of ABS plastic and with various admixtures. Which bring in plasticity to this inexpensive but fragile material.
2. Fiberglass: fiber glass filler fastened with synthetic tar. They are low cost durable and workable.
Due to wide uses of the BMW Spoilers in the racing purpose look for them is always made a type of sporty look.
