Lack of education is one of the problems our country is facing. A number of mothers in America do not possess the necessary education to advance themselves in the corporate ladder. The Administration addressed this problem by designing college educational grants to moms who are willing and deserving to continue their education. Single mothers are even given preference in granting scholarship programs through the main federal financial aid program known as the Pell Grant because moms who provide and take care of their children on their own are really struggling just to make ends meet. A need to put them back to school and achieve something after is the solution to this social predicament.
A mom can apply for a grant according to her preference and passion. Among her choices of grants are the Pell Grant which helps those who are earning meager income and the National SMART Grant which is designed for those who are interested in the field of Science and Math. There are also other grants such as the FSEOG or the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and Academic Competitiveness Grant which offer scholarship programs to individuals according to their prescribed qualifications.
The vision of Government is to help alleviate the living conditions of many citizens in this country. Many mothers and their families are suffering from poverty due to lack of education. By providing scholarship grants to moms they can help themselves achieve their aspirations and desires in life, such grants would be a medium in realizing and achieving their dreams. Through scholarship grants their lives will be changed and their children will be given a brighter future.
