The Quickest Way to Get a Free Website to Generate Leads

If you own a business and you are not generating leads online, you are missing out on a very big chunk of sales. Every business owner should have some online presence even if it is just a business listing giving the name and contact information. Even better would be to share more details with your potential customers through your own website.

For most small business owners, however, web advertising has not been made a priority because of the costs and time spent developing and maintaining a website. If this has been an obstacle for you as well in advertising your small business online, let me share with you a quick strategy for getting a simple online profile that you can advertise and share where customers and colleagues can go to learn more about you and your business.

Just about every social networking site online (YouTube, Facebook, FriendFeed, LinkedIn, etc) will allow you to set up your own social profile page for free. Here you can display your photo, education & expertise, awards and achievements, interests, videos, links of interest and more. A lot of sites have room for you to blog about ideas or business training or products.

Once you have your profile set up, invite friends, colleagues, school chums, family, and co-workers to join you. You can even advertise the site address or link on business cards or online so that people can find you. Once you have a network started, you can periodically mention your business products or services to your audience. Also mention what is going on with you personally so that people get to know you better and trust you as a resource. People tend to do business with other people that they know and trust.

You can also choose to create a separate group page or fan page specifically for your business and ask people from your network to join that page as well if they are interested in hearing more about your business venture, product or service. Monetize your group by advertising your business in the same ways you would offline to this targeted group of potential customers. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.

I have many others strategies to get your business online with little to no cost to you. Contact me if you need help or if you have questions.
