When conducting live webinars there are four presentation models. We will discuss the first model today. Model number one centers around providing a free webinar to prospective customers. The purpose of this is to promote revenue generating products or services. With this type of webinar, you want to provide at least sixty minutes of valuable content and ten to fifteen minutes of promoting your product or service. The format is to tell the participants what to do first and then sell them on the product or service that will help them to do what you have told them to do.

For example, I can tell you what to do when you run a webinar, but I can sell you the nitty-gritty details on how to run a webinar. Do you see what I am saying there? I can tell you what to do when it comes to losing weight. I can cover the big picture. I can sell you the details and specifics, the step-by-step, on how to lose that weight more effectively.


Be up front and direct. Tell people the formula, but the details of the formula are what you have to sell. This is an important principle. Tell them the 1, 2, 3 step formula, but then your information product is going to sell them the details. You tell people the way to do something, then demonstrate for them the proven and quick way to do that thing. This is a really good method for software or even information product courses.

In the ten to fifteen minutes you have for promoting your product, you can promote an information product, a software product, a physical product, or even an affiliate product. These are products that someone else sells in which you earn a commission. One good way of doing affiliate marketing is to promise a training seminar if they purchase with your affiliate link. Or demonstrate how the product worked for you and then at the end give your affiliate link where you get a certain amount of commission if your listeners buy that product.


I can point to a good example of this in my own business in the form of a product launch formula sold by another company that I bought and used for my business. This formula really helped my business in a big way. What I would do to promote an affiliate product is show how I got the results, how effective they were and include a link to my affiliate product towards the end of the live webinar so that I can make money if they buy it. This is very effective because you have a product that you believe in, experienced results with and others will be attracted to the belief that you are able to convey because of it. This really works well with software programs.

When I use this live webinar model, in which I provide great content on the large percentage of the time with a sales pitch at the end, it works well for me. In future articles, I will reveal the other three methods of webinar models.
